Gurugram: JBM Auto Limited, India’s leading automotive and electric vehicle company on Thursday announced its consolidated results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026 and has registered a 15.96 % increase in net profit to Rs. 42.43 crore in Q1FY27 as compared to Rs. 36.59 crore in Q1FY26.
Revenues including other operating income stood at Rs. 1,442.45 crore compared to Rs. 1,253.88 crore in Q1FY26, an increase of 15.04 %. EBIDTA increased by 8.48 % at Rs. 194.88 crore compared to Rs. 179.65 crore in Q1FY26. Earnings per share (EPS) for Q1FY27 stood at Rs. 1.78, compared to Rs. 1.56 in Q1FY26.
The EV business of the company registered a 16.67% increase in revenues to Rs. 460.04 crore in Q1FY27 as compared to Rs. 394.31 crore in Q1FY26. The auto components business demonstrated a sustained growth at 15.53% in revenues to Rs. 894.12 crore in Q1FY27 as compared to Rs. 773.91 in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company said its electric mobility business retained around 25 per cent market share in the electric bus segment during the quarter.
JBM Auto said its subsidiary, JBM Ecolife Mobility Pvt Ltd, secured a strategic investment of Rs 750 crore from Motilal Oswal to accelerate the deployment of electric buses across India.
During the quarter, the company also signed an agreement with electric commercial vehicle leasing platform DRIVN for the supply of 500 electric luxury buses and reduced its long-term debt by around Rs 500 crore.
The company expanded its electric bus footprint across multiple states, with new deployments in Gujarat, Delhi and Haryana. It also unveiled the JBM Galaxy, India’s first indigenous sleeper and seater electric luxury coach, at the Prawaas exhibition in Gandhinagar.
JBM Auto further said it was recognised in the Hurun India 500 list of the country’s 500 most valuable companies.
