Gandhinagar: Pune based Tropicool Autotronics Pvt. Ltd. has unveiled its advanced 360-degree Around View Monitoring (AVM) System for commercial vehicles at Prawaas 5.0, aiming to enhance driver visibility, eliminate blind spots and improve road safety for buses, trucks and other commercial vehicles.
The company demonstrated the indigenous safety solution at its pavilion during Prawaas 5.0, with bus manufacturers, fleet operators, state transport undertakings (STUs) and other industry stakeholders showing keen interest in the technology.
The 360-degree AVM System uses four high-definition cameras to generate a real-time panoramic bird’s-eye view of the vehicle’s surroundings, enabling drivers to manoeuvre safely in congested urban environments. The system is designed to reduce accidents caused by blind spots while improving passenger and pedestrian safety.
According to the company, the system also offers dynamic parking and reversing guidelines, automatic camera switching based on vehicle movement, continuous multi-channel video recording and an AI-ready architecture for future intelligent safety applications. It has been specifically developed for buses, trucks and other commercial vehicles.
Speaking on the occasion, Tropicool Autotronics Pvt. Ltd. CEO Khushboo Shinagare said driver visibility remains one of the biggest challenges in commercial vehicle operations and the new AVM system provides complete situational awareness to help reduce blind spots and enhance road safety.
She said the launch at Prawaas 5.0 reflects the company’s commitment to supporting India’s transition towards safer and smarter mobility through advanced indigenous technologies.
Tropicool Autotronics said the launch strengthens its portfolio of commercial vehicle safety and passenger comfort solutions, which includes infotainment systems, reverse parking assistance, cameras, monitors, passenger announcement systems and intelligent vehicle electronics.
